About McInnis Mortuary
In February of 1978, McInnis Mortuary was founded by Mary R. McInnis and the late James E. McInnis in Eutaw, Alabama. They have been at the location of 267 Demopolis Road for over forty years serving East Mississippi and West Alabama. When James and Mary began, he was a licensed Motician in Alabama and Mississippi working with Mary taking care of the business, running the funeral home. She is also a licensed funeral director. Their son, Eric J. McInnis, worked at the funeral home as well. James and Mary were also very involved in community activities.

In December 1990, McInnis Mortuary opened it's newest location at 110 Marshall Street, Livingston, Alabama. The McInnis Mortuary Family was very fortunate. McInnis Mortuary embarked upon extensive renovations to further beautify the Funeral Home to make it a welcoming atmosphere to all who entered.

Sadly, James passed away July 12, 2008, but his legacy will live forever as a member of the network of funeral, cremation, and cemetary providers. After his death, Eric J. McInnis became one of the owners of McInnis Mortuary continuing to work alongside his mother, Mary R. McInnis, where they are very involved in community activities of West Alabama as well as East Central Mississippi.

McInnis Mortuary continues to provide quality service by offering a complete range of traditional and contemporary funeral services from it's two locations. They are committed to respecting and honoring the values of every family and have always been very passionate about upholding the dignity of the families they are privileged to serve in West Alabama and East Central Mississippi.
